Previously, Kenedy ISD has used applications such as School Messenger and the Remind application for parent communication. One of our goals is to improve the quality and consistency of parent communication through the Parent Square application.
Parents can download the application, and receive messages from KISD, campuses, and even classroom teachers. The application also allows parents to send messages and/or questions back to classroom teachers. In addition, through the app, you will receive direct information specific and intended for parents.
Currently, most parents are receiving parent square notifications through the e-mail they have on file. However, if you would like instant notifications you can opt to receive text messages or download the application for enhanced communication experiences. Scan the QR code and see the steps below.
You will have to enter the email used to register your children. It will then send a link to the email we have in your child's registration. You will click the link, verify, and set up your account. You will then search your children and verify their information before adding them to your account. If you have questions, please reach out to Ms.Jurgajtis at KES or Ms. Chapa at the secondary campus and they will assist you in the process.
